PUBLIC NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
South Middleton Township (Township) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide general consulting, planning, environmental, engineering, and construction services for the Carlisle Airport (N94). The Carlisle Airport, located in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania is a public use airport that was recently acquired by the Township. The firm selected for these services will be responsible for advancing various projects to include, but not limited to, the projects listed on the first Three (3) years of the airports Twelve-Year Plan (TYP). The term of the agreement will be Three (3) years, with an option to renew the contract for an additional Two (2) years.
The Township shall negotiate a contract with the highest qualified firm, subject to the evaluation of information received from interested firms, for necessary services, for the fees which the Township determines to be fair and reasonable. Should the Township be unable to negotiate a satisfactory contract with the firm considered to be the most qualified, the Township shall then undertake negotiations with the second most qualified firm.

South Middleton Township – Carlisle Airport”, a copy of which may be obtained at the Township’s website, www.smiddleton.com, or at the Township Offices located at 520 Park Drive, Boiling Springs, PA 17007, between the hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm. Firms interested in providing the above services are invited to submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) in accordance with the RFQ.
The LOI and required information must be received four (4) weeks of this Notice. The deadline for receipt of a Letter of Interest at the above address is 4pm prevailing time on November 4, 2021.
